Maui Community College exists no longer, it has now become the University of Hawaii Maui College: an official four-year university.
It was tangled in my great-grandfather’s drift net off the southern coast of Molokai. It had died in the net, most likely drowned during the night. I remember crying because the turtle was dead, and my great-grandfather consoling me that they were not going to waste it.
In 1962, Sam Walton and his brother J.L Walton opened the first Wal-Mart store in Rogers, Arkansas, and since then, the company has expanded to become the largest retailer in the United States of America. With being the largest retailer in the USA, Wal-Mart also has become the largest non-governmental employer. In 2004, Wal-Mart employed [...]

I haven’t had a new pair of lenses since last December, and even those pair were barely clean enough for me to avoid conjunctivitis. Im really frustrated right now. I tell my self that I need to be productive; I need to be focused. The first thing I think of when I want to get focused is that I need to turn off the computer. When the computer is off, I start to feel enthusiastic about making a stand [...]
It’s another month, the month of August. It was named for some Roman king I think. How regal. There is not much to celebrate in this month except the return to school and the protesting of Hawaiian Opression. August is where the Hawaiians were told that returning to the bitch slaves of American Colonialists was [...]
Vickie im’ed me on Yahoo tonight. She was feeling the heat like I was. I had shut my self in my bedroom, cranked on the air conditioner, but Vickie had to deal with the sweatiness of the summer. I mentioned that I didn’t want to leave my room because I feared the heat. We decided [...]
